Grades of Membership
Associate member
Associate Membership (ACSIA) is available to anyone: students, newly self-employed people and staff in their first customer service jobs or those in supervised front-line customer service positions. Associate members are encouraged to develop their skills by use of the services which the CSIA provides.

Member
The grade of Member of the CSIA (MCSIA) will be awarded to customer service professionals with five years’ experience managing customer service activities who can demonstrate successful, continuous professional and personal development in that time. This five year period may be reduced by up to two years, depending on educational qualifications held. Qualifications may include attainment of the CSIA Certificate of Diploma in Customer Service or a CSIA approved in-company training programme.

Fellow
Fellow of the CSIA (FCSIA) will be awarded to Members with ten years’ relevant experience. Individuals must have a proven record of successful continuous professional and personal development. Direct entry as a Fellow will be available in exceptional cases for individuals prominent in the field of customer service. Admission will depend on the degree of seniority, reputation and acknowledged effectiveness.

Corporate Member
There are three different categories of Corporate Membership with additional varying benefits:
Small Business (under 50 employees)
- 3 individual memberships as outlined above
- 20% discount on each additional individual membership
- Certificate proclaiming your organisation’s membership
- 1 day site visit, audit & certification to ICSS (extra days charged as required)
- Complimentary Awards entry (site visit fee of $3000 payable for finalists)
- Training to the value of $1000
Medium Business (between 50 & 500 employees)
- 6 individual memberships as outlined above
- 20% discount on each additional individual membership
- Certificate proclaiming your organisation’s membership
- 1 day site visit, audit & certification to ICSS (extra days charged as required)
- Complimentary Awards entry (site visit fee of $3000 payable for finalists)
- Training to the value of $2000
Large Business (over 500 employees)
- 10 individual memberships as outlined above
- 20% discount on each additional individual membership
- Certificate proclaiming your organisation’s membership
- Training to the value of $3000
- 3 day site visit, audit & certification to ICSS (extra days charged as required)
