JUDGING PROCESS

The Judging Committee consists of representative senior business people actively involved in the customer service profession.

The key stages that the national judging committee undertakes in the evaluation process for each category are:
1. Individual evaluation of submissions by members of the judging committee and finalists are selected;
2. Site visit by a licensed assessor is carried out  on each finalist to clarify elements of the submission by auditing it against the ICSS criteria;
3. Judging Committee reviews results and selects winners, high commendations and encouragement awards in each State;
4. State winners automatically qualify for the National Awards and are invited to make a 20 minute presentation to the national judging committee and must also be prepared to answer questions;
5. National Award winners, high commendations and encouragement awards selected.

20 March 2011 Nominations open
1 July 2011 Corporate and individual nominations close (application forms must be received by this date)
15 July 2011 Final written submissions due
July 2011 – October 2011 Judging of written submissions and finalist site visits are undertaken by the National Awards judging committee
October 2011 State winners and National Finalists are announced at State Awards presentations
November 2011 National winners in each category and the prestigious Australian Service Excellence Award will be announced at a Gala Awards Presentation Dinner. International Finalists will be announced so winners can attend the International Awards Presentation in the US.
